Streets of Thamel, Kathmandu - It has never ceased to astound me the strength of the human will and I experienced this first hand in Nepal trekking where I had the fortune of being assisted by porters who would sometimes carry baggage double their body weight over difficult terrain. Riding in a rickshaw, speeding through busy Kathmandu streets, by pure luck, I managed to photograph this man who seemed to possess superhuman strength, dwarfed by the giant lounge he was carrying on his back.
Thanks for vising my page! My name is Jeffrey Feng and I'm a 25yo Chinese-Australian (Chinese born, Australian raised), so at a very young age, I have been very culturally aware (or confused?). Trained in commerce and law, I have worked in finance, consulting and e-commerce but I passionate about photography (specifically portrait, fashion, travel and landscapes).
I find myself constantly day-dreaming of travelling to far-flung reaches of the earth, the road less travelled to document our amazing home and neighbours. My ideal job would be a globe-trotting National Geographic photojournalist. Watch out Steve McCurry!
