After 11 hours on a bus, we made it to our first stop in Vietnam. The border crossing was a breeze and the scenery coming down from the mountains was as beautiful as expected.
Compared to Laos, Vietnam is loud, fast-paced, and aggressive. The change in culture left me feeling defeated at first, but a conversation with a young Vietnamese man over breakfast helped renew my traveling spirit. This is our last country so it's time to crank up the adventures.
