Well it was a sad day yesterday as we got the tow truck to pick our little green beast up and take him to the car doctor. Candice drove JD to Tesco (supermarket) parked it and JD was all good. Got into the car put the clutch down and CLUNK! The clutch cable went.
We needed to get a MOT (Road worthy) done on it as well so we asked the mechanics to do one at the same time.
All up it's going to cost us like £400 on a car we only bought for £495!!! So we're NOT happy, however Jamie needs the car to get to work so JD has to be repaired!
On a happier note, we went to a Manchester City Football (Soccer) game on Monday 5th to get into the English sport spirit. We were impressed with the amount of fans there were and the atmosphere, however we were told afterwards it wasn't a very good game. It still impressed us!
However, our wonderful landlord's Uncle has offered us tickets which we have GREATFULY accepted to...MANCHESTER UNITED GAME!!! YAY
We go to the game this Sunday to watch Man United play Blackburn and the tickets have been sold out so it should be an AWESOME game, we can't wait. We will post more photos soon.
