    Taxi anyone, the heat that radiated from this one was incredible, I wasn't sure I was going to get to Caye Coco. Views[220] This is a causeway built to Caye Coco by Fidel for the tourist industry, stayed in a resort for a few days. Views[298] Che is very prominent in pictures & statements like this all over the country. This one was in the bus station. Translation Trinidad, Cuba, horse and cart still very much in daily use. Views[267] Group of jintero's or tout's. These lads approached me to buy rum for them as it was a birthday, so I did and unbeknown to them I proceeded to help them drink it too. One to the kiwi, these jinteros are everywhere in Cuba trying to scam tourists. Views[570]
     
    This guy is named Angel, very clever carver that gave me a couple of carvings for a good price, note he was part of the group of jintero's but a good one.     This wee town is called Australia, it used to be a sugar cane factory and railway line, horse & cart is still a major part of society in Cuba Views[352] No need for expensive boats, Havana, Cuba. Views[251] Is that Ernest Hemingway? Nope just a poser in front of his statue. Very admired in Cuba, Ernest not me. Views[279] Portrait of Che Guevara inside the house he stayed when planning Cuba with Fidel.
