Leanne left home early this morning to rendezvous with her boss Yvette, before flying to Ohio for five days. They are filming an episode of Restaurant Impossible which apparently screens on the Food Channel (whatever that is). It involves a creative decoration of a restaurant by Yvette, who in this case needs an assistant named Leanne and the securing of this gig is quite an achievement. Yvette runs an interior decorating business, so this publicity is not to be sneezed at.
After Leanne's departure, Brian, Marg and I took our foster cat Sterling, to the Annandale Petco store for an adoption outing. Sterling is only a temporary guest at Brian and Leanne's house and those running this foster arrangement, occasionally have cat adoption displays, where cats available for adoption are readily viewed and handled by prospective owners. A temporary enclosure called a Gizmo, is set up and the cats are free to prowl inside. Visitors can also fit in to this Gizmo and get acquainted with the cats. Sometimes a connection is made and one more cat is adopted. Sadly (or maybe not so sadly, because he is quite an engaging cat), toothless Sterling was not whisked off by a new foster family and he returned home to Springfield.
From a medical viewpoint - I'm at the 95% mark, but I think it's going to take Marg a little longer. She is not reacting quite so well to the antibiotics and may take more time to come good.
