Although not as famous for its trees as Ta Prohm, the Preah Khan temple (dedicated in 1191) provides a similar contrast of natural and man-made beauty.

From there, we biked over to the Ta Prohm temple (built 1186) -- where an indescribable atmosphere is created by the massive trees that have engaged in a slow-motion wrestling match with the gorgeous man-made spiritual center.

A tree at Ta Som temple (also built in the 12th century) has begun to overtake one of the entrances, creating one of the most photographed spots at the Angkor Temples.
