Daily life for the Khmer --the local people of Cambodia -- is infused with their Buddhist beliefs. Here, a monk offers blessings to a store owner after he has received alms in the form of white rice.

We had to take time out from the temples to usher out what has easily been the most inspiring, most educational, and most fun year of our lives. Thank you 2009! The locals threw a great party for the Westerners, even if it was pretty strange to feel like we were on Bourbon Street in the middle of Cambodia.
