All in a lifetime's work.

Today, my hand was asked for in marriage.

No need to clean your glasses or rub the sandman out of your eyes. I was proposed to today. Now, before you go ringing the wedding bells, let me explain. And before you ask, no, I haven't been keeping a relationship secret from my family and friends. This gentleman is a CEO of an international company and flies his own private jet. Pretty crazy, eh? He offered to fly me to Vegas and then Paris for dinner. I had plans for this evening so we still have to set a date but I think it may be a while before we do.  See, I was at work and he had a a terrible problem with his phone. After 2 hours of trouble shooting, I was able to fix it for him and he was so elated that he did just about everything but actually give me a ring. I had a good laugh. He felt bad that he had taken up so much of my time without purchasing anything that he took my business cards and told me to expect some business from his contacts in the near future. I think that was a fair trade!

In other news, I was able to book a flight to Jejudo. I'm only spending two nights there but I will be staying with a friend from Spain who is currently working on the island. I will be doing a bit of island hopping. I am looking into booking a submarine tour, cave hiking, volcanic cliff climbing, and picnicking on black sand/coral sand beaches among other activities - and that's my first 48 hours in Korea!

Although I've worked 2 60hour weeks in a row at work, I'm not feeling it in the least because my adventure adrenaline is kicking in!

Ha, that's awesome :) Yeah, I haven't had as great experiences with customer service at my phone company (maybe b/c it was ATT and they think they can do whatever they want just because they sold me and iphone for $50) so way to redeem cell phone store customer service :)
