Taken outside of the Annamalaiyar Temple in Tamal Nadu, India. This scene was apart of a Hindu ceremony where holy men would lay down offerings to the deity Shiva. What caught my eye from this simple scene was how the evening glow of the sun was bringing all of these colours to life.

Taken along the Ganges River in Varanasi, India. Walking along the banks of the river in the early hours of the morning, I came across dozens of young Hindu men practicing their Yoga. Their beautiful stances and gentle body language adds a sense of peace and calmness to the frame whilst the sunlight washes them with vivid golden hues.

A holy man sits and prays at the Golden temple in Amritsar, India. This temple is an important place of worship for the Sikh faith.

I set out early to make this image due to the hoards of tourist that usually crowd this temple. This allowed me to portray tranquility, peace and reflection through simple composition. I also made use of the golden hour, which washed over the site and enhanced the temples vivid golden colour.
