The pidgins follow, leaving him room to tuck in. Jim refers to Harold as '1 Tonne of Solid Cute' and insist that owners take care to keep their animals healthy. It's true that they get more exercise than horses in a regular riding stable. by: harrietrileynyc Views[711] Each horse has a number engraved onto its front left hoof. Like nailing in a shoe, it doesn't hurt, but PETA has had things to say about the work conditions at Central Park. Typically, a New York cab horse pulls up to four times its own weight in the carriage behind it, no easy task on a 43ºC day. by: harrietrileynyc Views[1641] Sweat beads on their flanks and fetlocks. The pidgins huddle in the shade each horse throws, and pick hairs from their mains and tails. When the horse moves so do the birds.
