So the last day in the Black Sheep in and the lovely area of the Quilitoa Lake. The day is beautiful so we prepare to take a trip to the local Swiss cheese factory. The trip took 45min by car. The factory was un a little village. It was a very small building with 3 people working in it. After a 1$ fee we had an explanation given to us on how the cheese was made. They make Emmental, Mozarella and Andino cheese. Seems that Ecuatorians do not like Emmental, so we bought a round cheese for 12$. The taste was wonderful! Also, ice-creams were made from the left over cream. That was also a real treat.
A pleasant 3h walk down the hill with fantastic views made the afternoon go by nicely. Followed by a nice chatter with the other lodgers and vegetarian pizza rounded a relaxing day.
Today, a 3h car drive followed by a 2h bus drive has landed me in the city of Banos, adventure capital of Ecuador.
