This is the fabled durian as seen on "Bizzare Foods." This is the only food that the host of the show just can't stand. It's a fruit that he described as tasting like rancid onions and gym socks... so obviously I had to try one. I agree w his assessment. Joe on the other hand, appeared to enjoy this unique flavor and went in for seconds.

I thought it taste like onions sauted in butter. Not really something you sit and eat a lot of but not the nightmare I was expecting. JOE
