So my 1st weekend has been and gone. We arrived here Friday night at the lodge and dinner was on the table for us. Talk about NICE food, don't think I'm going to be loosing weight!! The hard part is getting over the time difference and sleeping through the night, guess it will happen once we start slogging it out on the hills!
We spent the weekend getting our bikes ready and riding. We rode to the top of the hill behind us here and enjoyed the trails that have already been built by the kiwi boys. The scenery is amazing and the snow has mostly been rained away. Lets hope it stays that way! Some more lads arrived so there are 8 of us now as well as the locals who feed us and make our beds... no complaining here!
Work starts tomorrow and heres hoping the snow stays away!
