We had a great trip to Longshen with a small group of students. Only 14 of them and 2 easy teachers which make life super easy! The weather up there was kinda average though, and ended up being rather hazy so couldn't see to far in the distacne. But all in all it was lovely to be out and about in the peace and quiet. When we got back to Yangshuo we had to camp out for the night. The place is where we are building our new eco camp but their was nothing there except a trench that had been dug!
Not much has been happening since Friday. We said goodbye to the students then wondered round aimlessly in Guilin. Was cool to have no agender for the day!! We have been busy since being back organising the next trip which is 90 people kayaking and rafting. They were all going to be camping out at once for 2nights but luckily we have changed it so that only half the group is out there.Looking forward to it though, the camp site looks amazing. Right below a waterfall (it may be dry as there has been no rain for ages) and a lake. We have about 3 nights before students arrive. Will take lots of photos!
The days and nights are defenitly getting colder. Think it got down to 8degrees last night... what the!! The days are still blue sky and sunny but you need to move into the sun to warm up. Apparently there was snow in Bejing and the ski fields are getting geared up. Hopeing winter isnt too harsh here.
Off to spend the afternoon climbing, over sitting trying to organise stuff!!!
