    Releasing one's 'krathong' is a surprisingly complex affair, with mud, current, and wind being factors in the riverside. Waist-deep in the muddy waters, this Chiang Mai local ensures the successful release of the lit 'krathongs' down the river by guiding it safely away from the banks to join the stream of others. by: fruhlein Views[182] Loi Krathong is best enjoyed with the company of other people. 'Krathongs' are usually made of banana tree trunk and decorated with candles and various flowers and plants.
