My Scholarship entry - Floating hope

A boy cuts banana leaves that are then used to decorate and wrap the 'krathongs'. 'Krathongs' are usually made of banana tree trunk and decorated with candles and various flowers and plants. With the volume of tourists and locals during Loi Krathong, both young and old line the streets and riverbank with stalls that make and sell these floating baskets.
