Testing the night setting on my new camera. I had this exact image off the internet as my computer wallpaper for months. Now I have my own version ;)

Luna Park is at the base of the north side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it is a tiny amusement park with some antique rides and games. The face is famous but really it's just freaky, staring out across the harbour. You walk in under the teeth to enter the park.

There really are very, very few more beautiful cities at night than Sydney. Not many cities can boast two ultra-famous landmarks like this, side by side no less. You can sit for hours and oggle the Bridge and all its lines and angles. It is the most impressive bridge in the world, utterly dominating. Then turn to the other side and spend more hours oggling the Opera House, in all its beauty and ingenuity. Even though it is so famous, it is still hard to grasp that they built it, they actually built it. Of course all of this is framed by the most substantial harbour in the world. The harbour is the heart and soul of the city, and it just keeps going and going. Sydney is a city where even the locals walk around with their cameras out. There were numerous people around me this night with their tripods out, framing their photos. And these were serious tripods and cameras, not something you fit in a suitcase! It is maybe the most photogenic city in the world. You just cannot help taking pictures, every day again and again of the same thing, it is irresistible.
