Sydney Day 2: Hyde Park Barracks, ANZAC, Pylon, Olympic Park AND Luna Park

Luna Park is at the base of the north side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it is a tiny amusement park with some antique rides and games. The face is famous but really it's just freaky, staring out across the harbour. You walk in under the teeth to enter the park.

I didn't watch the Sydney Olympics, I was in res without a TV, and it was at 4 in the morning. But you can watch the opening ceremonies on Youtube I think. This is the flaming disc that lifted dramatically over a waterfall at the pivotal moment; now it sits outside the stadium and I think is still lit from time to time.
