    Mika, a traditional Maasai tribeswoman is standing in front of her boma (temporary dwelling house) which she built for her family. For me, these courageous and colourful nomadic people truly represent the soul of Africa. by: feng Views[268] Amidst the Great Migration in the Maasai Mara, 1.3 million wildebeest make the dangerous annual journey across Kenya to Tanzania. I am overpowered by the sense of scale – it is a surreal feeling being surrounded by thousands of animals all moving in one direction. by: feng Views[217] At the crossroads of Amboselli National Park, I aim to take a photo of the sign and a hyena behind it catches my eye. I adjust the focus just in time to catch it yawning and I am struck by the fleeting and unexpected nature of beauty in a moment where I look a little further than intended. by: feng Views[196] In the middle of the Serengeti, a cheetah jumps on the car in front, scans both sides, and pounces off. It slinks away, ambivalent that it has left us humans in shock. by: feng Views[266] In the heart of the Ngorogoro Crater, a curious Rothschild giraffe looks up at me the very moment I take the shot.
