We are in our early sixties and are retirees who like to travel both domestically and overseas. We are fortunate to both like travel. We are not averse to backpacking as long as there are suitable facilities at our overnight stays. (ensuite wherever possible, preferable a western one)
We have done the tourist trail to US, (Califiornia, Nevada, Oregon,Texas etc,) we have motorhomed around the south Island of New Zealand, back packed in China (x3), India and Thailand(x2). In March / April 2012 we spent 8 weeks travelling through SE Asia - Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China and Tibet. We had a fortnight in Japan in November 2012, then 3 weeks in the Northern territory in April 2013. Then we did a cruise thru Asia in 2015.We were planning a trans siberian train ride where we jump off at the major cities enroute from Beijing to Moscow but have decided that can wait until we have a quick look into South America.
