Gunasiri, the painter, was initially reluctant to let me take his picture, for fear the designs would be copied. Gunasiri, as well as several other artists, display their work along Green Path in Colombo. On some days he goes home with close to Rs. 10,000 (US$80) and on other days with nothing.
