I'm time travelling back a few days to write this...I won't change the events too much. Today Mike and I went out with Vadim (our Honcho) for donuts and pies (it's a healthy holiday hey!?). We walked around parts of St Petersburg we hadn't seen yet, including the sphinxes and then met him and his friend later, with the rest of the group, at a veggo restaurant. After that we sat around, then we were taken to the station (we still feel weird that transfers are included) to board the train for an over nighter to Moscow. We are bunking with Paul and Sarah, and irish couple, it's a tiny 4 berth but it'll be fun. We did some vodka shots (well tolerated some vodka shots really) and chatted about Hurling and Gaelic football.
