So when a coffee flask is on the bar with cups dont assume it's free...because it wasn't in this instance. Had an awkward exchange with the cranky cook but then ended up making small talk and finding out next week they are having a big base jumping meet and people can get taken up in helicopters to watch them launch themselves off the cliff tops - freaky cool! Back to the day...spent it driving from Lystolen to Odda. Windy, windy and wowsy! The drizzle did nothing to spoil this place and as we drove through an icy wonderland we needed to stop to capture a POD to capture the harsh, dramatic landscape with it's frozen lakes, icebergs, and generous covering of snow - summer in Norway! Every town seemed to be another ski village, plenty of snow for everyone. Odda camp ground is our stop tonight for the Troll Tounge trek tomorrow..and coundn't resist another grill party.
