We embarked on one epic bike adventure today, covering over 40km around the Flower Strip of the South. After reading all about it I was certain it'd be a piece of cake finding it and getting started...however, after asking two station staff...and a visit to the information centre we were still flying a little blind. Went with our guts and happened to stumble upon the path numbers so our trip began. You really can't beat this time to see the fields - they are literally bursting with colour! I took about a ga-zillion photos (got a few that are postcard worthy). To top it off, we visited Keukenhof Gardens and what a sight to see - it would definately be Kerry's happy place!! Just when we thought it was over the sun began to set (at 8:30pm) over the cute cottages and fields, creating this vivid pink and orange glow...Our day was beautiful, breathtaking and incredible - all the special words you save for moments like this.
