Day 65 v2: Shaman

PERU | Friday, 1 April 2016 | Views [357]

Rest day, feeling a little sick today....coming up from the valley, Cusco is higher. Bummed around then went out to Shaman Vegan Raw Restaurant. It's run by locals and we met their six year old daughter who came and sat at the table with us before her mum took her home to bed. Cute. This place is full of crystals and hippie bits and pieces - just look at the website. A Shaman is like a spiritual healer who can take you on a journey into the Andeas, feeling rocks and meditating, building a relationship with Pachamama (Mother Earth). Of course San Pedro is involved - a hallucinogenic cactus taken "to reach heaven while still on earth". Woah...posters of this guy were all over the walls hahahaha cheesy. Feel free to watch this please.
