As posh as we are, the Backpackers flew from Lima to Buenos Aires, and were met by their tourguide and host Romina, After meeting the family we knew Christmas was going to be very special!!! In thew lead-up to Christmas we saw all the sights around Buenos Aires and Enjoyed lotsa cold beers, which we nearly forgot the taste of at this stage!!! but it´s like riding a bike.......... On the Friday night, We went to a Free open air Dance Performance, by Argentina´s most famous Ballet Dancer Julio Bocca, and boy was it amazing!!! his last ever show before he retires and we got to see it along with 200,000 people....... Christmas Eve was very special they organised a Brazilian party and everyone got dressed up and the drinks were flowing with the Samba rhythems to go with it!!!
The following day, Our Christmas Day, We headed for Uruguay, We got this fancy Cruiser and had a bit of luxury across to Uruguay in search of hot sandy beaches! We arrived in Piriapolis and as late as it was, we went in search for our Christmas diner, walking around there was no TURKEY to be found, so we went for the next best thing.............CHICKEN!!!Hello McDonalds, We ended up SHARING a chicken burger and a McFlurry for dessert, For anybody that wants our Bank Acc numbers, they are available upon request!!! All donations welcome.... it´s your turn to volenteer... Volenteer your money... As the beggar in Lima said to us "WE LOVE YOUR MONEY"..... Moved out of our Geriatric hostel the following morning and left for La Paloma, Along with all the South American men falling for us, so did the Mosquito´s, MT got bitten in the eye and grace´s left leg was breakfast, lunch and diner.......... The next night we tried to make up for our lack of a Christmas diner and the posh backpackers went all posh and went to a fancy retaurant and ordered two steaks, it was worse than the McDonalds, Who likes BLOOD and FAT!!!!!
