Late flight from Heho to Kengtung. Kengtung is in the remote valleys of eastern Shan state, part of the Golden Triangle that encompasses Thailand and Laos, home to dozens of minority tribes. Our small coach stopped by the standing Buddha, 1 tree hill and up to a used monastery to see the sunset as 'mini monks' ran around hiding from us. Then on to our hotel: princess hotel (another Sarah that was in our group reminded me that Sarah means princess in..... I think in Hebrew......I'll have to tell Laylah about that although she won't believe that her silly auntie Sarah can also stand for princess!!!!)
