Short boat ride to the start of our trek with the group splitting in 2: a short slow walk and faster longer walk, and yes obviously we took the harder option!! This was the first time we had seen spiders....... proper big spiders!!!! They were everywhere in massive webs, big black and yellow spiders - I've been meaning to look up if they were poisonous being yellow and black?!!
Anyway, back to meet the group for another locally cooked lunch then walk back to boats, 6hrs walking.
Treat after showers when we got back: local Burmese massage!!!! Luckily Emma and I had our own room, we were asked to put on woven sumo style trousers and top as all massage was through clothing, deep ish pressures with some good stretches.
