Well, were on our way. We decide not to do the 'were packing and getting excited' bit and thought we would start when were on our way. Were sat in our LA Hotel writing this, so that's half way to Fiji, the flight over was good; no 'lumps and bumps' all smooth and good service from Air New Zealand. The weather was clear but with a base cloud below the plane, but then over the end of Iceland and the lower tip of Greenland the cloud below disappeared; my chance to get the first pic's through the window. US Customs very busy, but understandably so; LA is HOT! It was 31deg' when we had our breakfast at 0930hr's this morning (which was very nice) Our flight leaves at 2315hr's tonight so time to chill here, and have a sleep on the second leg.
