My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Hairdressers and tailors line the Ghanaian streets. Like many, this Accra hairdresser is a flurry of activity as women get their 'hair attached'- yes, most of their big long braids and shiny shiny hair is fake! Women visit the hairdresser every 2-6 weeks to get 'new hair'.

Hi,
First of all: I really like your pictures!
I'm going to Ghana in 3 weeks and I want to do an interview with a hairdresser could you tell me where you've taken these pictures? And do you think it's possible to interview a hairdresser? Do you have any contacts over there? I would love to know!
Thanks!
