Ghana, West Africa

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Millions of used computers, TVs, VCRs, monitors, cell phones, and other electrical equipment arrive in Ghana every year, sent from all over the world. This cheaper, second hand electrical equipment, make the goods affordable to Ghanaians who cannot afford it new.

This joyous man is a common sight in the welcoming and friendly Ghana- a land where I discovered a rare species of gigantic smile.
