Hello! My name is Lauren Black, I'm a 23 year old Canadian living in Oakville, Ontario and working downtown Toronto. I am a travel fanatic and was recently in South East Asia for 3 months last fall and couldn't have loved it more. My previous travel destinations include the West and East Coasts of Canada, England, Germany, The Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Costa Rica, Punta Cana and The United States -- all places I have been fortunate enough to capture beautiful photos in.
I'm a recently Queen's University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music & Drama and hold a Master's in Industrial Relations. Currently I am working in Human Resources and Corporate Communications but have a desire to write, shoot and be creative always.
Other hobbies and interests include down hill skiing, scuba diving, surfing, camping, hiking, yoga, running, tennis, singing, reading, writing and just about anything photography related.
I hope you enjoy my selection of photos from the market in Indonesia, taken just before a traditional cooking class where I had the opportunity to learn how to cook some of the most flavourful dishes I've ever tasted.
