A massive fig tree overlooks nearby farmland, a common scene through out Kiama. Clear skies and vivid green grass can be seen year-round.

What's the craic there fella. Irish man here looking a bit of info. You'll probably have a laugh too. Was looking online for meadows and all those Kina settings yano. Looking for a place I could take this Aussie woman of mine for a lil romantic feckin picnic close to Sydney. Been a feckin nightmare. A lot easier in Ireland to find an old field with a bit of grass and a tree haha! Came across your pic of the tree then. Wondering if ya would let me in on where it is? Don't worry I've no intention of taking Pics or stealing locations. Couldn't take a decent feckin selfie anyway haha. Just lookin to use the old Irish romance and woo a girl. Cheers lad😂😃

The livestock in the region have some of the best views in the country. This inquisitive horse is typical of the laid-back nature of the animal residents.

Regular rainfall and a temperate climate means the vegetation of the area is lush and sustains a wide variety of native birds and wildlife.
