A stroll at the edge of reason

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

The Indochinese leopard is today considered extinct in the wild in Cambodia where is not spotted since 2007. Deforestation, illegal hunting and prey depletion have to be counted as the causes. A cage is no paradise accommodation for any animal but it may be the only place where the estimated 600 millions per year of zoo visitors will be able to see these majestic creatures.
