I live in a middle-class neighborhood with Walter, Gloria, and Lissette.  Walter is a middle-school teacher of what I believe would be our 6th and 8th grade.  He teaches English.  Walter also is a tutor in English and has students sometimes in the evenings come to the house.  Their garage is set up as a classroom.  Gloria is a homemaker but for extra money she gives computer classes to adults sometimes in the evenings.   Lisette is 8 years old and is in the 3rd grade.  She attends a school only 5 blocks away from where we live, so Gloria can walk to the school to drop her off and pick her up.  There are no school buses here for the public schools, just the private ones.
