“Paparazzi on the Pioneer “ I wanted to share my early morning experience on the Pioneer River with a friend. As I pedalled along my friend was snapping away madly, overwhelmed and in awe of the beauty surrounding her.

“Pioneer Silhouette” Sitting outside on a balmy North Queensland night, the full moon lit up the sky. I drove to the Pioneer River and parked on the boat ramp, opened my sunroof and put the camera on 20 second exposure. I love the feeling of this photo. The silhouette of the man on the pontoon, taking in the moment as the moon is embraced by thick clouds and a star twinkles on the water.

“Look Out Here I Come!” Taking Hazel my 9-month-old Labrador for an afternoon swim in the Pioneer River is always entertaining. I captured Hazel just as she was about to launch herself on top of my friend. His look is one of fear as he knows the outcome will be painful.
