Woh. This place is absolutely chockers with tourists. I would hate to be here in July and August when tourists are at their peak. Dubrovnik is a lovely city (and restored very, very well) with a beautiful setting on the Adriatic but it is very hard to move amongst the crowds! There are a lot of packaged tourists as well as cruise ships. If you visit, do it in the winter!
We've have spent a couple of days here after arriving from Sarajevo but are looking forward to a few quiet days on the island of Korcula just off the coast of Croatia. As you can see we've cover many miles in three weeks so we are looking forward to a few quiet days of resting, swimming, reading, etc...
This is a quick one. One of these days I'll get around to uploading some photos. Hopefully I'll be able to do it when I'm on Korcula...
