A true "wet season" or "Season of colors" experience. Every single time I go back to the tropical town of Darwin, in the Northern part of Australia, I feel like entering a different world. A world where life is still so different, where things are still so much more relaxed, where only 2 seasons really rule

Darwin is not for nothing the "lightning capital" of the world. These spectacular lightning storms are like a true spectacle to watch. It is better then watching television, as these massive lightning strikes reveal some of the even more amazing cloud formations that are discovered here in the tropics. It truly is an amazing season this wet season!

Darwin wouldn't be the same without its truly spectacular mangroves that cover a big part of the coast line here up north.
These truly unique , but so important trees are a heaven when it comes to photography. Here it almost looks like the trees are tip toeing out of the water. And all I was waiting for was to see one of the mighty salt water crocodiles roam the Mangroves.
