Tales from the Rugby World Cup

Who are we?

NEW ZEALAND | Wednesday, 6 July 2011 | Views [531]

Good question. We're recently retired school teachers who spent the last 3 years at a small school in Honduras planning this trip to New Zealand for the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Four years ago we took a rare break in our 35 year careers in education to spend a month in France following the 2007 World Cup. Weeks before South Africa lifted the Web Ellis Cup in Paris we had decided to be in New Zealand when the All Blacks kick-off against Tonga on Sept. 9th, 2011, and to stay there until the cup is once again lifted by a triumphant nation in Auckland on Oct. 23rd.
