Sailed on the ferry across to the island of Langkawi. This is one of the main beach holiday resorts in Malaysia. Really nice hotel with room overlooking the sea and palm fringed beach about ten minutes away. The beach front is really idyllic but the area behind the beach there is lots of construction. Had a nice couple of days, chilling by pool, another bike tour and walking on beach. The real highlight was the food (sorry I know I am always talking about food), had a fantastic evening meal in a restaurant overlooking the beach and the sunset – even managed a couple of cheeky cocktails!! Off to the jungle now.
