hiya, we are now back on the coast near to Byron bay. Our campsite is right on the beach and next to a lake. visited Byron bay yesterday, it is a really busy hippy/surfer resort. You need dreadlocks and no shoes to fit in here! We walked along beach and cliff tops to cape Byron. Saw a large pod of dolpins, half a dozen turtles, a small shark and a ray. The water is so clear you can see through it to spot the wildlife. Tried taking photos but all you can see is sea, so I didn't bother posting them. Chilled on our beach at Lennox head and went swiming. Really hot when we went to Byron Bay so we needed to cool off in the sea. We are travelling back inland today to see Mount Warning then we will be going over the Queensland border. I feel like I have been away forever and we are only halfway through the holiday!! All amazing so far.
