Today (14 Apr) is Cambodian and Thai new year so Happy New Year!!!
Back in Bangkok. We stayed near the international airport last night at Silver Gold Garden hotel but couldn't get any decent information on the status of the ongoing redshirt political protests. My feeling is that most of Bangkok is business as usual and the redshirts are only in small areas so today we moved back to our normal location roof view hotel near Kao San road. We will stay out of the way and will hopefully be on our way again tomorrow heading to Ko Tao island another step south towards Australia.
