Hi All,
7hr bus ride from Siem Reap and back in Phnom Penh again. We decided after just hanging out in the guesthouse in Siem Reap that this wouldn't do for the next 8 days. Cambodia is not a place to just visit. There are not enough sites to keep us interested. It is a place to experience and to live. The people are lovely. We love and will miss their genuine smiles, laughs and friendliness.
We have moved our flight to Bangkok from the 19Apr to 13Apr and hope that it is the right decision as a state of emergency has been declared in some parts due to the conflict with the red shirts. Just recently a class has left at least 20 people dead and hundreds injured.
Our plan is to stay out near the airport and catch a bus-boat to Ko Tao and avoid the centre of Bangkok. Fingers crossed.
