    Turned and saw this scene as I was leaving the beach. This image for me summarized life in Hawaii. Full of life in different forms, locals, tourists, sun and sea. The surfer staring out at the waves made me want to leave everything behind and stay right there. Views[440] The ultimate getaway, near Lahaina. People were camped along the dry beaches of the windward side of the island, fishing, swimming and soaking up the sun Views[368] Footprints in the Sand. Walking the beach in Lahaina I got interested in the coulours, contrast and textures of the sand. It was not your usual white sand beach. A group of local girls walked past and I snapped a shot of their footprints as a wave washed them away. Views[626] Honolulu Hawaii; Waikiki Beach. People pour out of the city onto the pristine beaches. Views[346] Walking along the coast of Kona in Hawaii I spotted little black crabs. I was pleasantly surprised to find this bright red husk of a crab, that shed its shell, still clinging to the lava rocks. Views[732]
