    Lunch after touring Peles Castle. Views[348] The castle has a room for every occasion. The weapons room, royal library, music room, theater hall, the concert room and many others. My personal favorite was the Turkish Salon. Reminds me of Hubbly Bubbly. Views[299] Peles Castle is known as one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. Located in the Carpathian Mountains near the town of Sinaia construction began in 1873 and took ten years to build and was one of the most modern of its time.     This is the most popular dog in Signisoara. His name is Jimmy Dogson and he has his own Facebook page with 4,000 friends.     We were able to climb the Franciscan Church bell tower in Sibiu. Views[262] Sibiu's Craftsman Guild sends it apprentices across the world to work for minimal material gain working only to obtain food, housing and the opportunity to meet different mentalities and habits. This pole represents the final stage of the apprenticeship. The Craftsman drives a nail into the pole when his apprenticeship is complete.     Plum brandy is very popular in Romania. A mulberry wood spindle is placed inside the bottle to add color. Legend has it the spindle is a puzzle if solved will result in a broken heart.     Returning to our hotel we saw a hedgehog in the driveway. Views[257] Sheep dogs are very protective of their sheep. Views[278] Hiked almost to the top of a hill in a little town called Gura Humorului until a pack of dogs herding sheep spotted us. Views[286] We got some serious mileage out of the name of this town.     Visited a black clay ceramic factory. Views[338] Voronet Monastery is one of the famous painted monasteries featuring an intense shade of blue called Voronet blue. Restoration is unable to be conducted because the color Voronet blue cannot be replicated. Views[428] One of many beautiful churches in Romania.     Berca Mud Volcanos (Vulcanii Noroiosi) in Buzau Romania. Views[343] Saint Anthony Church is the oldest church Bucharest. On Tuesdays a line of single women can be seen going into the church praying to Saint Anthony for a good man. As an extra bonus the remains of Saint Anthony were on display for all to see. Views[562] Romanian Athenaeum concert hall. Views[708] King Carol I on horseback in front of the Royal Palace in Bucharest.
