After hanging out with Quilermo all day we had some of Facu's friends around in the evening for Chiripan. The party was really good fun and again i set my camera up with the remote so that we could take some spontanious photo's.
The next day we went Kiyaking on the river to the Islands in the middle of the river. This was a fucking horrible experience that i dont want to re-live so i'll leave it there. In the evening we were heading to Canada (Pronounced Can-Ya-Da, its not in North America) which is where Facu is from. We had been invited to go and stay with his family for the weekend and to attend his Grandmothers supprise 80th birthday. The family was massive and hardly spoke any english so Facu was kept busy translating but we had a brilliant time. The party was at a local Assado restaurant and the food was fantastic. Again there were the Brin, intestine type foods but also lots of "normal" cuts. The family was so accommodating and friendly they were all practly fighting over who could chat to us.
Hopefully we didn't take too much attention off of Granny. She appeared happy to see us and we got the first photo with her and the cake. We really were guests of honnor. After Granny's party we headed to another birthday party. It was a shared 22nd and 24th party of 3 brothers all born on the same day. Again we seamed to steal the lime light as everyone was introduced to us and wanted to practice their English. Again this was a really hard job as the girls were outragiously attrative. I hate all this traveling lark ;)
After going clubbing we went to a petrol station for breakfast. it was 7:00am and this sounds a bit of an odd thing to do but everyone was in there having croissants and cakes before going home to bed.
We were awoken the following day by the melodic tunes of Phill Collins. Facu's dad is a big fan and i think it was put on in our honnor. however i dont thinkit was recieved in the way that it was intended but it was a nice gesture. Throughout the day varoius relitives and friends came to the house to peer at the funny foreighn guys but they were all really nice so it was ok. Lateron we went for a tour around Canada. This is something that everyone appears to do on a Sunday afternoon as they all head top the main street and get Coffe etc. It was really cool as we got to meet alot of the people from the night before.
In the evening we headed back to Rosario to collect our stuff before heading on to Buneos Aires the following morning.
