Today was our last driving leg with LA in our sights... Still heading south along the coastal highway we managed to see a little bit of Venice, had a great coffee stop at Malibu, a quick drive through Santa Monica and then hit the crazy LA freeways...
We arrived just in time to spend the afternoon in downtown LA. Our first stop was Town Hall were we were hoping to catch a glimpse of Governor Schwarzenegger, alas no luck there...
We then walked past the amazing Disney concert hall... This place was stunning..
We spent a little more time in the city, walking through the streets, past MOCA and the music centre and then caught the subway back to our hotel as we are up early in the morning to pick up Pat (Dans mate from home) from LAX... A great little introduction into LA....Especially when we got our first sights of famous Hollywood Blvd!
