Today
we ventured by boat to Phi Phi island.... this was an interesting
journey – some great people watching was had, we will fill you in
when we get back LOL. The island is beautiful and much more
relaxing than phuket. We spent the first day walking the streets
trying to find a sports bar that would broadcast the state of origin
live and would you believe it, on a remote island we found one... We
began the arvo sitting back drinking Chang Beer praying for QLD to
stuff up. To make the experience like home – we recruited as Aussie
Pat to set the scene.. (Don't worry Pat, Dan still loves you more!)
After
a 100 Baht bet was made (A huge $4 AU) we watched with humiliation,
NSW loose again... It was great to be surrounded by a bunch of
Aussies cheering along the home game in a trendy little sports bar,
we wish you were all here with us...
