Beta Theta Pi Sponsorship

Sent out over 300 emails today to my fellow Beta Theta Pi alumni brothers! It was a relief when the mail failure delivery messages stopped at 67, meaning I successfully sent about 200. I am thankful that I joined a group of people who share similar interests as myself and understand the importance of this experience!

I have received $100 so far and hoping for around 2K. Plane and essential survival expenses (shelter/water) were $3500 alone. There are certain expenses I need to get in order: vaccinations for Hep. A/B, Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Malaria, Polio, and Tetanus. I will need to apply bug repellant constantly since some viruses mentioned above are carried through those evil bugs we Americans know as mesquites. I will sleep in a net, etc!

All set with travelers insurance and Passport! I have insurance till the 21st of March, might need to extend that when I decide to stay longer than expected.

Anyway, I will keep this updated as funds come in. I sent Martin Cobb from Nationals some more info on the progress I am making. All is good and I feel grateful for the sponsors who have already committed.

GO BETA,

Chris
