In Delhi, my friend from Britain and I were traveling around by ourselves to meet up with another friend. Out of nowhere, these children surrounded us and started snapping photos with their cameras. My friend became very upset, and explained how she could never live in India because she was so sick of people taking her photo, and it was only then that I realized she had never been a minority before.
